Abstractions at Play

Exhibit at the Frank Lloyd Wright Rosenbaum House

Florence, Alabama – October to December 2024

As an artist with a background in architecture, I was honored to exhibit my work at the Rosenbaum House, a space designed by renowned architect Frank Lloyd Wright. My work drew inspiration from Friedrich Froebel’s Gifts—historic childhood building blocks that have influenced my understanding of creativity and impacted Wright, who credited them with shaping his approach to architecture. For this site-specific exhibit, I created pieces that connected with the unique features of the Rosenbaum House—its light, materials, colors, and textures. By considering the purpose and feel of each room, I created an experience that felt harmonious within this historic space. Click the images below to explore each project
