Geometric Confetti

Original abstract mixed-media collage that combines architectural structure with playful composition. Measuring 13" x 13", the piece is built from cut cardstock and repurposed packaging arranged in a grid of squares and rectangles. White space creates movement and balance throughout the composition, while areas of color and pattern add rhythm and contrast. The work explores order, variation, and the energy of assembled forms.

I use acid-free cardstock, upcycled packaging, and cardboard in my collages. They are adhered with a permanent bond adhesive onto Ampersand Claybord art panel—which is crafted from warp-resistant, FSC-certified Hardbord. I apply a clear matte acrylic coat to finalize and preserve the work. This piece is mounted in a thin floater frame.
