At Play

Through having a husband who is a songwriter and a wordsmith, an aging father who shares life‘s memories with us through the spoken word, and a previous career that values storytelling, I value the importance of sharing my introspective thoughts, journey, experience, story.

Attraction to Abstraction

In 2003, I experienced my first art class during my senior year at boarding school. I enrolled in AP art, and when we began developing our portfolios, I had a desire to make a series of line drawings. The forms that were created came from my mind, my memory, my desire to create—design—intricate spaces, places, objects, experiences.

“Abstraction allows man to see with his mind
what he cannot see physically with his eyes...”

– Arshile Gorky, Armenian-American painter
